The Isle of Wight Distillery has worked with Facer to launch its Mermaid brand into the US market with a spirits miniatures gift set.
It has once again partnered up with Facer Progressive Printed Packaging.
The Mermaid miniatures gift set is a World Land Trust Carbon Balanced Pack, balancing the equivalent of 4,796kg of CO2e to-date.
It is made of mono-material, printed with vegetable oil-based inks and water-based coatings, and is fully recyclable. Both the outer carton and inner fitment yield from the same production sheet of Billerud CrownBoard Prestige with minimal waste.
Xavier Baker, co-founder, the Isle of Wight Distillery, said: “Our partnership with Facer has been instrumental in turning that ambition into reality. They share our belief that recyclability, responsible sourcing and minimal environmental impact should sit at the heart of great design.
Luke Wilson, managing director, Facer, said: “Our partnership with Isle of Wight Distillery is a powerful example of what is possible when values align. This project brings together design, innovation and sustainability to tell a truly authentic brand story. One that respects the natural world we all depend on, as without healthy ecosystems and wildlife, none of us exist, and we believe our packaging choices have a responsibility to reflect that truth.”
The pack is now a finalist in the Packaging News Sustainability & Impact 2026 Summit & Awards.
