Italian machinery specialist unveils mono-material packaging solution at Fruit Logistica that eliminates metal clips

Sorma Group unveiled its new net packaging innovation at Fruit Logistica in Berlin, a new system that it has said ”combines sustainability, durability, recyclability, and operational efficiency in a single solution”.

Sorma Clipless is packaging made entirely of plastic mono-material, eliminating the need for metal clippings and offering greater durability when compared with the more expensive and heavier plastic alternatives currently available.

Brazil will host, for the first time in Latin America, a congress dedicated exclusively to the metal packaging industry. The OneCan – International Metal Packaging Congress will be held from April 6 to 8, 2027, at Distrito Anhembi, in São Paulo (SP), with a focus on innovation, sustainability, and business generation.
