By replacing pumps with flip caps, eos is reducing plastic use by 12%, advancing its mission to prioritize customer experience and environmental responsibility.

Personal care brand, eos, is rolling out new flip caps across its entire body lotion range.

This choice was made in response to consumer demand for an easy way to get every last bit of lotion out of the bottle.

Most importantly, this switch also reflects eos’ ongoing commitment to more thoughtful, lower-impact packaging.

By replacing pumps with flip caps, eos is reducing plastic use by 12% across its body lotion packaging.

This advances its mission of making more sustainable choices that prioritize consumer experience and environmental responsibility.

Sustainable Approach
In addition to these new flip caps, eos has made other commitments to sustainable practices in terms of material choice, TerraCycle recycling, climate impact, and community investment.

The brand is reducing impact through improved packaging materials, including 100% FSC-certified paperboard and at least 30% post-consumer recycled content in body care materials.

Eos also encourages consumers to recycle empties through its TerraCycle partnership, extending packaging life beyond disposal. Eos even offers a free shipping label to ship out empty products for recycling.

Eos partners with an independent climate organization to measure and track its environmental footprint and progress over time, setting goals as a result to keep improving for the planet and the people behind their products.

Through the Shea Better Sustainability Program with the Global Shea Alliance, eos supports 450 women in Ghana and Côte d’Ivoire with business training and income diversification, water access and hygiene resources, and shea parkland restoration and tree planting.

The new flip caps will start rolling out at DTC, Target, and Walmart over the next few months.
