People spot 'genius' hidden function inside Terry's chocolate orange packaging

People are just realising a 'genius' hidden function inside Terry's chocolate orange.

While fans of the product may assume that they know the sweet treat back to front, the new discovery of a hidden function has left people floored, reports the Mirror.

Taking to TikTok, Neil Adams - who boasts more than 2,600 followers on his account @michael_adams1138 - shared a video of him demonstrating the handy feature first-hand. Posting the clip to the popular video-streaming service, Neil left people gobsmacked with his clip, which has raked in over 338,000 views since posting.

The handy tip acts as a perfect stand for your chocolate, which tackles the gruelling task of scrambling inside the box for a tasty slice of chocolate.

"Nom, nom, nom," Neil added as he nabbed a section of the chocolate to eat.

Flocking to the comments, TikTok users shared their shock after only just discovering the clever function - with one person admitting they've been unaware of the hack for 50 years.

One person noticed a problem: "Could've done with this before Christmas! it's gonna be 12 months before I eat another chocolate orange and what're the chances of me remembering?"

"Omg!! I've just realised, nobody got me a chocolate orange for Christmas. I'm hurt," a second added.

Meanwhile, a different user praised the idea: "Genius!"

A fourth said: "50 years on the planet and still learning."

A fifth added: "Nice one never knew that."

"I never knew that," a sixth agreed.
