Time and temperature indicator

The label is constructed using a standard narrow web flexo printing press and incorporates Insignia Technologies patented colour changing indicator film; the process is therefore very easily scalable. The removal of a tab on the top of the label brings the active components into contact with each other and initiates a colour change.

Labels can be customized to have the colour change take place over a variety of different time periods, ranging from one to two days, up to a maximum of six weeks under refrigerated conditions.
