Delhi-based healthy packaged snack start-up, Sattviko, has launched the world’s first two-in-one namkeen, Minute Namkeen, in two flavours, viz Chilli Lemon and Zesty Tasty. The new product range is a mixture of healthy Indian seasonings, along with common edible oil, sugar, curry leaves, red chillies and peanuts. They are available in pouches or cups. It can be consumed in two different ways. The first is the regular basic way (open the pack and start munching). The second one is by adding some hot water to make it a complete meal and enjoy the taste of Indian flavours with a modern touch. Along with its health benefits and expertise in taste, the new product range also comes with a shelf life of nine months. Besides the new launch, Sattviko also provides khakhra chips, makhana in different flavours, gur chana, paan raisins, dry mango slices and flax seeds, all in multiple flavours. Speaking about the new range of products, Prasoon Gupta, co-founder and director, Sattviko, said, “We, at Sattviko, aims to offer the new avtar of delicious and healthy snacks with the amalgamation of Indian traditional recipes along with modern food technology.”

Running high on tremendous customer response, Sattviko which had registered Rs 70 lakh revenue in the first year, now aims at touching the Rs 45-crore mark in the coming years, and has robust expansion. During the last financial year (2017-18), Sattviko grew at 700 per cent rate. The company, has also got a number of awards and recognitions to its credit. Under the Make in India programme, it was conferred the Best Food Brand of India during the third National Entrepreneurship Awards last year by the Ministry of Skill Development, Government of India. Gupta bagged the TiE Delhi NCR Young Entrepreneur of the Year Award in December last year, and Business World included him in the top 40 young entrepreneur in its 40 under 40 series.
