JPFL Films becomes India’s first packaging manufacturer to launch BOPA Nylon films

JPFL Films Pvt Ltd, which is a subsidiary of Jindal Poly Films Ltd, has made history by becoming the first Indian company to launch Biaxially Oriented Polyamide (BOPA) Nylon films.

With an investment of Rs 120 crore, the company has set up production at its state-of-the-art facility in Nasik, aligning with the ‘Make in India’ initiative.

JPFL Films boosting innovation and industry growth
This launch reflects JPFL Films’ commitment to innovation, quality enhancement, and cost optimisation. The new BOPA Nylon Films offer superior mechanical strength, an excellent aroma barrier, and durability.

These films will address industries like pharma, medical, FMCG, and food packaging—markets that previously relied entirely on imports.

Global expertise for local advancement

JPFL Films has leveraged its global experience in BOPA film production, with its group company Jindal Nylon Films already manufacturing these films in Italy.

The company’s advanced Japanese double bubble film technology ensures better dimensional stability, puncture resistance, and high-speed printing compatibility, strengthening India’s position in high-quality packaging solutions.
