The Stockport-based firm has arranged for the new website design to be specially developed to better reflect the company’s position as one of the UK’s leading independently owned thermoformed packaging manufacturers.
The design now boasts a clear focus on sustainability throughout, highlighting the firm’s commitment to producing plastic packaging products that are 100% recyclable and contain a high level of recycled materials.
New content and images show finished products have been incorporated within sector-specific categories covering Macpac’s key areas of expertise including food & drink, pharmaceutical, horticultural, non-food / retail and manufacturing.
As well as offering a more in-depth look into main corporate initiatives such as innovation and recyclability, the website also features an improved wax melt catalogue featuring full 3D visuals of the packs and end products.
Simon Firth, sales manager, said improved site navigation makes it easier for users to find relevant information via visual menus and simplified market categories, as well as an enhanced user experience on mobile devices.
“It is increasingly important for us to make information regarding our products and in-house capabilities such as design and tooling departments, more readily accessible to our current and potential clients both in the UK and globally. A key aim was to ensure the new website truly reflected the scale of the business and capacity for further growth whilst reinforcing our brand values and influence at the forefront of plastic packaging.
“However, it was equally important not to lose the personal touch we are known for so the use of new photography helps capture our processes and people for a true ‘behind the scenes’ feel."
