Lush Celebrates 30 Years of Protecting Biodiversity

Lush is looking to kick off 2026 with a meaningful new launch that brings its long-standing mission to life: a brand-new Keystone Giving Product designed to protect biodiversity at scale.

The new limited-edition Elephant Jelly supports the protection and restoration of over 128,000 acres of land in Cameroon, which is a critical wildlife corridor for endangered species.

75% of the purchase price (minus taxes) will directly fund organizations working to reforest rainforests, protect threatened mammals like the African forest elephant, and address habitat loss and human-wildlife conflict.

This launch comes after Lush’s newly released 2025 Impact Report, unveiled as the brand celebrated 30 years of campaigning for people and the planet.

Key highlights include:

  • Packaging & Digital Ethics: Nearly half of Lush products (45%) are ‘naked’, accounting for 54% of sales. The North American Bring It Back program collected 530,000+ packaging returns in 2025, and Lush has reduced Big Tech spend by 57%.
  • Sustainable Materials: Reduced palm-derived ingredients by 17%, sourcing 52% of former palm materials from alternatives like rapeseed, coconut, and babassu oils. Introduced new palm-free products and continue to support forest communities through non-timber forest products.
  • Climate Leadership: Achieved 100% renewable electricity globally, including all retail and manufacturing sites.

Over the past three decades, Lush has raised over $100 million for grassroots organizations and continues to push the boundaries of what regenerative, values-led business can look like.
