Americold, a global provider of temperature-controlled infrastructure, knew a significant amount of the rack in one of its facilities was outdated, but they could not stop their ongoing operations at the busy Wisconsin warehouse to implement a rack replacement. To accomplish the refurbishment while maintaining existing operations, they worked with Steel King Industries, a Wisconsin-based rack manufacturer, known for its expertise in both cold storage design and heavy-duty rack manufacturing. The resulting project increased both the amount of storage space and load capacity, significantly increasing available pallet positions.
