packaging technology supplier bosch packaging technology has expanded its aftersales services support in latin america with a regional service hub in são paulo, brazil.with a base of around 3,000 machines in the latin american market, the company mainly provides its services to the food and pharmaceutical industry, most of which have their production sites in brazil.the são paulo regional hub will help bundle requests of all food and pharma machinery equipment from bosch and its product brands.the facility that will have 21 employees will provide its services to all latin american countries south of panama.bosch packaging technology, brazil head of services michel jemael said "bosch has already been present with service engineers in latin america for several years."by establishing an independent regional hub for the whole latin american market, we can now offer our customers one single point of contact for all their service enquiries."the company said that a local presence would help it to have direct customer contact."we want to be where our customers are. with local contacts that speak their language and operate in the same time zone, we can offer the best possible service within a short timeframe," added jemael.bosch said that the new facility&39s comprehensive and customised service portfolio would help in supporting customers in achieving maximum output and a high equipment effectiveness.bosch plans to expand the brazil facility further over the next few years."for instance, we are continuously investing in the training of local technicians, and exchanging knowhow with our international colleagues around the globe," said jemael.
