Allied Blenders and Distillers Limited (ABD), a leading name in the Indian spirits industry, has unveiled a rejuvenated look for Officer's Choice Blue, one of its flagship whisky brands. The announcement marks a significant step in ABD's efforts to enhance consumer engagement through innovative packaging.
Unveiling the modernised Officer's Choice Blue, ABD has introduced a sophisticated new design with a sleek bottle structure and transparent label, embellished with elegant matte gold foiling. This revamped packaging, crafted by a leading European design firm, also displays the distinctive "Trusted Since 1988" emblem, paying homage to the brand's rich history.
Officer's Choice Blue has long been recognised for its quality. It is a blend made with imported Scotch malts, matured meticulously in bourbon barrels, and has garnered widespread consumer trust. With the 'Badal Ke Toh Dekho' initiative, ABD aims to fortify this legacy through a contemporary lens, bridging the past with a vibrant future.
Mr. Amar Sinha, Managing Director of ABD, commented on the relaunch, stating, "Officer's Choice Blue has been an integral part of our story for more than three decades. As the modern Indian consumer evolves, we believe their favourite brands should evolve with them. This relaunch is about bringing a renewed sense of pride, energy, and contemporary style to Officer’s Choice Blue." He noted that the new identity aims to bolster the brand’s relevance and support its growth journey.
ABD plans to roll out the updated packaging in a phased manner. The initial focus will be on key markets such as Uttar Pradesh and Maharashtra, with subsequent introductions in West Bengal, Odisha, Meghalaya, and Haryana.
