When L’Atelier Parfum stamps its free-spirited mark on the perfume industry by choosing to add value to its packaging, it entrusts Segede with converting its wooden cap to zamak—from the mold and its engraving to the decoration crafted in France and juice compatibility testing.
In creating L’Atelier Parfum, Masha Russac and Mikolaj Pietrzak chose to establish a genuine olfactory and creative laboratory where the juice, selected blindly, would sit at the heart of creation long before the packaging. They initially selected resolutely minimalist flaconnage paired with a simple wooden cap that takes a backseat to the fragrance.
French-style luxury
Driven by strong growth and a firm determination to move upmarket, the brand decided to replace its former wooden cap with a more premium Zamak component, creating the tactile experience of a dense material with a cold-to-the-touch feel. The brand entrusted SEGEDE with this gradual conversion across its entire range through a 100% Made in France eco-design approach. The strategy aimed for an aesthetic, technical, and economic balance driven by the mandate of exclusively French manufacturing.
The first reference to undergo this transformation is the fragrance Matcha Crème, created by Clément Marx. Segede handled all operations, starting with mold manufacturing—including the logo engraving—and high-pressure die casting of the parts. The polishing process was automated to maintain economic viability alongside the Made in France signature. The simple shape of this piece harmonizes with the nobility of the material and the matte black finish.
Given the variety of juices in the collection, Segede conducted extensive testing across all brand references to ensure complete compatibility between the surface treatments and each olfactory composition. This thorough execution and accountability reflect SEGEDE’s commitment to its clients.
