Turpins, located in clactononsea, specialises in the design and manufacture of highperformance shrink sleeve applicators marketed under its sleevit brand. With a wide range of standard and customconfigured sleeving systems, turpins sells to a global customer base that spans a broad range of industries. &ldquothis acquisition strengthens accraply&rsquos commitment to the shrink sleeve labeling industry and expands our footprint in europe,&rdquo said rob leonard, president of accraply.

Leonard said &ldquothe addition of turpins and the sleevit brand within the family of accraply, graham, trine and stanford brands complements our position as a global provider of a complete range of labeling and converting equipment, backed by an extensive service and parts support network.&rdquo founded 42 years ago, turpins packaging, widely known today as sleevit, was acquired in a management buyout in 2005 by coowners edward woods and phil carter. Woods said &ldquoshrink sleeves can be applied to many different types of containers and products.

Our customers come from a wide range of market sectors including food and drink, cosmetic, personal care and pharmaceuticals, as well as many other consumer and industrial product sectors. &ldquoi am delighted to see the company moving forward with accraply and barrywehmiller.&rdquo accraply, a subsidiary of barrywehmiller companies, is a manufacturer of pressuresensitive, rollfed and shrink sleeve label application systems as well as converting and finishing equipment for the shrink sleeve and flexible packaging markets.
