Slashed Scratchpad Packaging

A pair of beautiful yellowembellished patterned journals comes in each bleachwhite box, developed with a cleverness that references the turnover from the previous calendar year. Two digits brand the front of the sketchbook sleeves with a number 12 in a fine italic typeface. A zipper perforated strip acts as access to the mailer&rsquos contents, located quite unusually across the middle of the box.

The recipient must pull a tab from the top of the envelope, striking a diagonal slit between the printed 1 and the 2. The interstice seems to become a textual character as well, emulating the written notation of the year.
