the &lsquoprotektapak&rsquo box, designed to withstand the &ldquogruelling&rdquo postal environment, provides transit protection for bottles during transportation. smurfit kappa created the pack following a briefing to develop an environmentally friendly and sustainable alternative to protective mailing packs currently used in the market. the resulting corrugated box design aims to replace environmentally unfriendly and expensive polystyrene. part of this process was to put the product through vigorous testing to ensure it provided the necessary protection.
