(Ghent, Belgium, April 29, 2026) Hybrid Software, a leading provider of innovative
prepress and workflow solutions for the label and packaging industry, today announced
the successful conclusion of its first Fusion Packaging Summit in the United States. The
event brought together over 170 partners, brands, customers, industry experts, and
sponsors for three days of discussion on the future of packaging and print.
The summit featured 27 sessions addressing key industry developments, with customer-
led presentations forming a central part of the program. These sessions highlighted real-
world applications of Hybrid Software and partner solutions for brands and converters,
demonstrating measurable business impacts from design to printed packaging.
Among the standout topics, discussions on Amazon Transparency and GS1 Sunrise
attracted strong interest, underlining how traceability initiatives and global standards are
reshaping packaging requirements. A case study from Diageo demonstrated how 2D and
3D rendering technologies are enhancing decision-making, reducing the need for physical
prototyping, and accelerating time to market.
Industry partners also used the event to announce two strategic collaborations: XSYS
unveiled an expanded partnership with Hybrid Software, focused on delivering more fully
integrated solutions for the flexographic and letterpress markets; and HiFlow Solutions
announced a collaboration to integrate their packaging MIS/ERP platform with Hybrid
Software’s CLOUDFLOW workflow. This integration will enable job specifications to
transfer automatically from estimating and order entry into pre-press, eliminating the
need for manual data handling.
In addition, Hybrid Software announced the commercial availability of MyMatches, an AI-
driven search engine for packaging graphics, and unveiled jAImes, which uses agentic AI
to extract order information from customer emails and create job orders in customer
ERP/MIS systems. Roadmap sessions covered new applications of artificial intelligence
across its portfolio to drive automation and efficiency, while keynote speakers David
Zwang and Marco Boer provided insight into market trends and the evolving packaging
landscape.
“We are extremely pleased with the level of engagement and the quality of discussions
throughout the event,” said Mike Rottenborn, CEO of Hybrid Software. “We would like to
thank everyone who joined us and made the summit such a success. We also extend our
appreciation to our sponsors, including Arden Software, GlobalVision, HP, and XSYS, as
well as Bobst, Canon, Domino, HiFlow Solutions, ICScolor, Infigo, and Koenig & Bauer.”
Following its U.S. debut, the Fusion Packaging Summit will return in Europe in 2027 as
part of an ongoing rotation between the two regions.
