Amcor will showcase its latest facial skincare packaging innovations at LUXE PACK Monaco, including the Magic One airless dispenser, Prima Jar and Ocyl bottle, with a focus on premium aesthetics, dispensing performance and sustainability.
Amcor will present its latest developments for facial skincare packaging at LUXE PACK Monaco, taking place from September 28–30 at the Grimaldi Forum Monaco.
At stand DB07 in Diaghilev Hall, the company will highlight its beauty packaging portfolio for prestige and masstige skincare brands, focusing on trends including product premiumization, advanced dispensing technologies and demand for distinctive packaging designs.
Magic One airless dispenser takes centre stage
A key highlight will be Magic One, Amcor's latest airless dispenser developed for facial skincare products such as creams and serums.
The dispenser combines a distinctive shape with precise product delivery and portability. According to Amcor, its design was the preferred option in consumer trials conducted in 2025 by GfK, highlighting the role of packaging aesthetics in influencing consumer perception and product experience.
Magic One delivers a 0.3 ml dose and is designed to dispense the formulation accurately regardless of the angle at which it is held. Its airless dispensing technology is intended to help protect formulations from external exposure while supporting product integrity.
Amcor reports a 96% restitution rate, helping minimize the amount of high-value skincare formulation left inside the pack.
Packaging designed around the skincare ritual
For premium skincare products, packaging increasingly plays a role beyond simply protecting and dispensing the formulation.
The interaction between the consumer and the package—from the visual appearance and tactile experience to dispensing and application—can form an important part of the overall product experience.
“Today’s consumers expect facial skincare packaging to deliver far more than an attractive appearance,” said Lara Alemany, product line director, Amcor Global Rigid Packaging Solutions. “The packaging design forms an essential part of the product experience, from the first visual impression to the way it feels in the hand and the ritual of dispensing and applying the correct volume formulation.”
Prima Jar and Ocyl bottle ranges expanded
Alongside Magic One, Amcor will showcase extensions to its Prima Jar and Ocyl bottle ranges.
Manufactured in France, the formats are designed for premium beauty applications and provide brands with opportunities for distinctive decoration and visual differentiation.
The Prima Jar is positioned for facial creams and other high-value formulations, while the Ocyl bottle provides a format for skincare products such as serums and other liquid formulations.
The range extensions reflect the continued demand for packaging that combines sophisticated aesthetics with manufacturing and decoration flexibility.
Incorporating recycled materials
Sustainability is also a consideration in the latest packaging developments.
According to Amcor, the new formats are designed to incorporate post-consumer recycled (PCR) material, subject to material availability. The use of recycled content can also help brands access France's Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) eco-modulation mechanisms.
This approach reflects the growing requirement for premium beauty packaging to balance visual and tactile appeal with evolving sustainability expectations.
Designed with PPWR in mind
Amcor states that each of the new products has been designed to comply with the European Union's Packaging and Packaging Waste Regulation (PPWR).
For skincare brands operating across European markets, regulatory developments are increasingly influencing packaging design, material selection and recyclability strategies.
By incorporating regulatory considerations during product development, packaging suppliers can help brands prepare for changing requirements while maintaining the aesthetics and functionality expected in the prestige beauty segment.
Combining design, functionality and sustainability
The developments Amcor is presenting at LUXE PACK Monaco reflect the changing role of packaging in the facial skincare market.
Premium packaging is increasingly expected to combine visual differentiation, tactile appeal, precise dispensing, product protection and sustainability considerations in a single solution.
“Beautiful packaging is about the complete experience rather than decoration alone,” said Alemany. “By combining consumer insight, distinctive design and sustainability considerations, Amcor is applying fresh thinking to help beauty brands create packaging that feels desirable, relevant and memorable.”
The company's showcase at LUXE PACK Monaco will demonstrate how these elements can be integrated into packaging formats for the rapidly evolving prestige and masstige skincare market.
