Milacron to Showcase Injection Molding and Automation Innovations at PTXPO 2026 !

Milacron, a global leader in plastics processing technology, will present its latest advancements in injection molding machinery, mold technologies and integrated automation at PTXPO 2026, taking place March 17–19 in Rosemont, Illinois.

Visitors to Booth 519 will experience a range of high-precision, energy-efficient and sustainability-focused solutions designed for demanding manufacturing applications.

Milacron will highlight its Q-Series 170-ton servo-hydraulic injection molding machine, engineered for performance, efficiency and reliability. The low-to-mid-tonnage IMM is suited for applications across automotive, construction, packaging, electrical and custom molding sectors.

  • Double-toggle design enabling energy savings and high-speed operation
  • G3 Mosaic control system
  • Compact footprint with optimized clamp specifications
  • OPC-UA connectivity for smart manufacturing integration
  • Work cell integration with Milacron auxiliary solutions such as robots, resin dryers, conveyors and cooling systems

During the exhibition, the Q-Series 170 will produce a mobile phone holder using mold technology from DME and a sustainable material from BioLogiQ. The component weighs 1.47 oz per part and demonstrates Milacron’s focus on sustainability in molding applications.

  • BioLogiQ – Hybrid Bio-Resin, a polypropylene blend containing 10% NuPlastiQ®, delivering a 50% plant-based material solution

Milacron will also demonstrate the FANUC Roboshot ALPHA‑S110iB, an all-electric injection molding machine designed for liquid silicone rubber (LSR) processing in automotive, electrical and medical markets.

At the show, the work cell will produce a medical membrane component using a 28 mm LSR injection package, enabling highly accurate dosing suitable for cleanroom manufacturing environments.
