Liquid Death and Goodwipes Turn Bathroom Essentials into a Bold Brand Collaboration !

Liquid Death has teamed up with personal hygiene brand Goodwipes to launch a limited-edition range of flushable wipes scented with the brand’s signature sCREAM Soda. The unexpected collaboration combines distinctive branding, product innovation and humour to turn an everyday bathroom product into a conversation piece.

The limited-edition wipes combine Liquid Death Mountain Water and its sCREAM Soda scent with Goodwipes’ formula, which includes skin-friendly ingredients such as aloe and vitamin E. The wipes are sold in packs of three and feature a bold co-branded design incorporating Liquid Death’s recognizable flaming-skull identity.

Beyond the product itself, the collaboration demonstrates how brands are increasingly using unexpected partnerships to generate consumer attention. Liquid Death has built its identity around challenging conventions in the beverage category, while Goodwipes aims to modernize a traditionally overlooked area of personal care. Bringing the two together creates a product that feels unusual but remains closely aligned with both brands' personalities.

Packaging becomes part of the experience

The packaging plays an important role in making the collaboration stand out. Instead of treating the wipes as a conventional hygiene product, the brands have used strong visual branding and a playful tone to make the pack itself a marketing asset.

This approach reflects a wider trend in consumer packaging where limited-edition packaging, unexpected collaborations and distinctive sensory experiences are being used to create social-media visibility and encourage consumers to interact with products beyond their basic function.

The launch is supported by The Buttler Sweepstakes, a deliberately absurd promotional campaign offering one winner a live-in “Buttler” to provide a personalized wipe service. The campaign film uses an exaggerated luxury-service format to reinforce the humorous positioning of the product.

Turning an ordinary product into an experience

The Liquid Death–Goodwipes collaboration highlights an important innovation in modern brand strategy: innovation doesn't always have to mean a completely new technology or manufacturing process.

Sometimes, innovation comes from taking an everyday product and changing the way consumers experience, perceive and interact with it.

By combining an unusual scent, co-branded packaging, limited availability and entertainment-led marketing, the two companies have transformed a relatively ordinary hygiene product into something designed to generate curiosity and conversation.

The collaboration is currently available exclusively through Walmart, with the limited-edition wipes planned to remain on sale through January 2027.

For packaging brands, the takeaway is clear: when the product category is ordinary, packaging and brand experience can become the innovation.
