SÜDPACK once again improves its EcoVadis score

SÜDPACK’s consistent commitment to sustainability is clearly reflected in the 2025 EcoVadis ranking: The film manufacturer has further improved on its al-ready strong results from previous years – earning an impressive 85 out of 100 points, placing it among the top 5% of companies rated worldwide and securing a Gold Medal as a result.
From 59 to 63, then 84 in 2024 – and now 85 points: the SÜDPACK Group’s EcoVa-dis track record reflects the company’s continuous progress in the areas of sus-tainability and corporate responsibility. As a highly innovative family-owned busi-ness, SÜDPACK has consistently placed strong emphasis not only on sustainable procurement practices across its entire supply chain, but also on setting new in-dustry standards with its recyclable, material-efficient high-performance films and forward-looking packaging concepts.
The latest award reflects the concrete sustainability goals outlined in the compa-ny’s ambitious “Sustainability Leadership” strategy – and, as the management team emphasizes, “the measurable progress made represents an outstanding achievement by our entire workforce. At the same time, it serves as motivation to keep improving, to continually set new standards for environmental and social responsibility, and ultimately to create long-term value for all our stakeholders.”
Concrete progress at SÜDPACK
The renowned sustainability ratings platform has assessed around 150,000 com-panies worldwide based on their performance in the areas of environment, labor and human rights, ethics, and sustainable procurement.
In the 2025 ranking, SÜDPACK was once again recognized for operating an ad-vanced sustainability management system. The company maintained its consist-ently high scores in both the Environment (92 points) and Labor & Human Rights (84 points) categories. However, in the Ethics category, SÜDPACK achieved a sig-nificant improvement over the previous year – rising from 72 to 80 points. Sup-porting documentation highlights the exceptionally broad integration of ethics-related actions and certifications throughout the company’s operations. This in-cluded conducting risk assessments for information security and further expanding existing anti-corruption evaluations.
SÜDPACK also improved its score in the Sustainable Procurement category – by three points to 80 compared to the previous year. Key contributing factors includ-ed risk assessments that identify potential negative impacts on sustainability with-in the supply chain, whether related to suppliers, products, or purchasing catego-ries. These assessments, supported by formalized documentation, serve as proof of a structured CSR risk analysis process. The advantage: If risks are identified through this analysis, targeted measures can be developed – and additional incen-tive programs for suppliers introduced. Wherever possible, SÜDPACK already pri-oritizes business partners that actively pursue their own ecological and social sus-tainability initiatives.
