An immersive experience of the future of packaging solutions with live launches of the new HKE Series equipped with electronic carousel motion, new technology to produce inverted spouted pouches, expanded cartoning solutions, moving Athena controls platform from machine to line, and new features designed for the use of sustainable packaging codeveloped with our stellar partners
Mespack, a leading international manufacturer of innovative machinery for sustainable flexible packaging and end-of-line solutions, will return to Interpack 2026 with an ambitious concept: Mespack Land – Experience Innovation.
As part of the Duravant family, Mespack invites visitors to step into an immersive and interactive environment designed to go beyond machines, hence showcasing how technology, digitalization, and collaboration shape the future of packaging. Mespack Land is structured around three strategic pillars: Digitalization, Sustainability, and Turnkey Solutions. It offers a comprehensive vision of how packaging lines can evolve to meet today’s industrial and environmental challenges, or highly regulated industries such as pharma applications.
Digitalization: The new HKE Series, a new full range of HFFS machines electronically driven and the launch of Mescada to go from Machine Data to Factory‑Level View
One of the key highlights at Mespack Land is the live launch of the new HKE Series, Mespack’s new generation horizontal platform designed to redefine high-speed and high-flexible packaging production. The HKE Series is built around an electronically controlled carrousel system; it is designed to deliver high reliability, continuous production, and exceptional format flexibility in both roll‑stock and pre‑made pouch configurations. With a compact footprint, fast automated changeovers, and full digital connectivity through Mespack’s Athena ecosystem, the HKE Series represents a new benchmark for efficient, future‑ready and sustainable pouch packaging production.
Mespack will also showcase its complete digital ecosystem, combining Athena, the controls platform to run machines with optimal performance, with Mescada, which expands this intelligence to monitor and manage entire packaging lines across the factory.
Athena is the digital backbone of Mespack machines, enabling advanced control, data acquisition, and performance optimization at machine level. With the launch of Mescada, Mespack goes from machine to line, allowing plant manager to monitor, analyze, and optimize all packaging lines from a single platform, including the integration of third‑party equipment.
Live demonstrations will show how Athena is now capable to connect operators with machines by voice, an innovation that will be launched at Interpack, and how Mescada is nicely displayed in a touch panel to enable centralized monitoring and control of multiple packaging lines within the same factory. The software delivers real‑time KPIs, OEE monitoring, reporting, preventive maintenance, and AI‑assisted decision‑making, which transforms production data into actionable insights.
Sustainability: Driving Innovation Through Intelligent Packaging Technologies
Sustainability is also a core pillar of Mespack’s innovation strategy, and the machines showcased in Interpack, integrate advanced technologies designed to reduce material waste, energy consumption, and production inefficiencies. Solutions such as the new Continuous Unwinder ensure a perfectly synchronized and stable film feed, enabling continuous operation with optimal tension control, higher efficiency, and consistent pouch quality even at high speeds. At the sealing stage, the new Smart Digital Sealing delivers highly precise temperature control and advanced cooling systems, enabling the use of sustainable mono‑material structures while significantly reducing energy consumption and pouch waste, and ensuring stronger, more reliable seals. In parallel, the new Inline Thermographic Inspection (ITI) provides real‑time quality control using thermal imaging to detect sealing defects, leaks, and anomalies during production, preventing defective packs from reaching the market and minimizing unnecessary product loss. Together, these technologies reinforce Mespack’s commitment to smarter, more sustainable packaging solutions that combine performance, quality, and environmental responsibility.
Turnkey Solutions: Integrated Lines, One Responsible Partner
Mespack Land will also highlight the company’s turnkey expertise through several turnkey solutions on display. Visitors will discover:
• The new CS | CL Cartoner Series, presented as part of a turnkey solution with the vertical multilane MLC Series with continuous motion.
• The H360 FED, a new rollstock HFFS machine for Inverted Spout Pouches, developed in collaboration with Menshen, as an alternative to the existing HF Series for premade spouted pouches.
• The W7000, a wrap‑around solution that can be integrated with Mespack primary packaging machines, ensuring high packaging density and formats flexibility.
• A pharma turnkey solution, combining the MSPH with a Famartec cartoner.
• The Hydroforma Series for pods, showcased in both rotary and flat‑bed versions.
These solutions demonstrate Mespack’s ability to act as a single responsible supplier, delivering fully synchronized lines from primary packaging to secondary and end‑of‑line, with optimized layouts, reduced interfaces, and faster commissioning.
Sustainability in Action: Innovation Through Collaboration
Sustainability takes center stage at Mespack Land through close collaboration with our stellar partners:
• Dow is supplying high‑barrier co‑extruded recyclable films powered by ELITE™, SURLYN™, and AFFINITY™ PE resins. These will be run on the MLC Series, showcasing advanced mono‑material structures for sachet applications. The material has been printed by Comexi.
• On the HKE Series, Mespack will process recycle‑ready mono-material film and paper‑based solutions from Amcor, Mondi and ProAmpac. This will highlight high‑performance PE and PP structures, functional barrier papers, and mono‑material recyclable films for flexible pouches.
• Menshen is collaborating on the H360 FED Inverted Spout solution, featuring a 100% recyclable PE flip‑top spout applied to this new platform. The material used in this machine is done and printed by Constantia.
• Regarding secondary packaging, Saica is providing recyclable wrap‑around cartons integrated with Mespack primary packaging machines, while Famartec will participate with cartoning solutions as part of a pharma turnkey line that combines the MSPH platform with this equipment.
• From a process and quality perspective, watttron will demonstrate Smart Digital Sealing (SDS) technology, and Spookfish, a new partner, will showcase thermal camera systems for seal In-Line Thermal Inspection (ITI) and process monitoring integrated into Mespack lines.
• Finally, Global Factor, also joining Mespack Land as a new partner, will provide carbon‑footprint calculations and carbon‑credit solutions, enabling visitors to understand how packaging sustainability can be measured, managed, and improved through data‑driven tools.
As at previous Interpack editions, Mespack will also host a dedicated Partner’s Talks photocall area, where short video interviews with partners will be recorded live. These interviews will be shared on LinkedIn, thus reinforcing collaboration and knowledge exchange across the packaging ecosystem.
To continue with a popular tradition, Mespack will once again hold its Golden Ticket giveaway, offering three winners the opportunity to test cutting-edge sustainable materials, including recyclable, recycled, biodegradable, and compostable options. This year’s raffle, held on the final day of the show, is organized in collaboration with top industry partners. The winners will gain access to the materials and systems of these partners or conduct trials at one of three leading innovation centers: the Mespack Innovation Centre (Barcelona, Spain), Dow Pack Studios (Freeport, TX), or the ProAmpac Collaboration Innovation Centre (Rochester, NY).
In the words of Guillem Clofent, President of Mespack: “Interpack is the perfect stage to show how Mespack is evolving beyond machines. With Mespack Land, we are presenting a complete vision of how packaging lines can become more intelligent, connected, and sustainable, in combination with our latest technologies, such as the new HKE Series, digital solutions, and strong partnerships to deliver real value to our customers.”
Mespack Land is designed as a destination within Interpack; a space to explore, interact, and experience how packaging innovation becomes reality. Visitors are invited to join at the Duravant booth, in the Mespack area at Hall 6, Booth B73, and experience firsthand how sustainability, digitalization, and turnkey solutions come together to shape the next generation of packaging.
