To meet the evolving demands of its customers and respond to the strong growth of niche fragrances in Europe and around the world, Bormioli Luigi has revised its catalogue, favouring models whose simple shapes allow full freedom for customisation through decoration. After the launch of Edge in 2025, Linea emerges in a finely crafted rectangular form.
As niche perfumery continues to grow worldwide, emerging brands are seeking products that are both standard and high-quality, which they can tailor in design and distinguish through a unique decoration. Based on this observation, Bormioli Luigi has reworked its ready-to-go product collection by selecting models with clean, minimalist shapes that are easy to appropriate. The catalogue is thus enriched with new straight-sided designs, crafted in thick glass to deliver a confidently premium look.
STRAIGHT LINE
After Edge, launched in 2025 with its perfectly cubic shape, Linea follows, designed as a rectangle that is wider than it is tall. Its first distinguishing feature lies in its sharp edges, which are particularly delicate to industrialize. The glass distribution closely follows the contours of the bottle, creating depth and an elegant interplay of volumes. For this creation, Bormioli Luigi has made no compromises on glass quality or weight, which is comparable to that of bespoke (custom-made) products. Moreover, Linea can be produced with 15% recycled glass.
It is initially offered in a single 100ml format and is equipped with a screw neck (SNI15), enabling refillability and easy recycling.
WHEN DECORATION MAKES ALL THE DIFFERENCE
Edge and Linea were designed to highlight all types of decoration (lacquering, hot stamping, screen printing, sublimation, etc.), with particular emphasis on Inside internal lacquering, which enhances the thickness and the elegant distribution of the glass. To anticipate brand demand, the decoration site in Parma is equipped with a dedicated machine, specifically created for internal lacquering in small quantities.
In the coming months, the Bormioli Luigi collection will be expanded with new models, this time intended for the travel retail markets.
