Smartphone-Based Digital Authentication
At the heart of the solution is Cryptoglyph®, a digital authentication technology developed by Swiss security specialist AlpVision. Schreiner MediPharm precisely embeds an invisible digital security code into the transparent area of the seal during printing. The code is imperceptible to the human eye but can be authenticated instantly using a dedicated smartphone application.
If a package has been opened and resealed using adhesive tape or other methods, the embedded digital signature becomes unreadable, enabling fast and reliable detection of tampering attempts without requiring specialized inspection equipment.
