The container itself is made from uk sourced cardboard mill offcuts. To enable customers to view the fruit, they use a printed recycled board sleeve featuring a clear film window. Although the window looks like clear plastic film, it is manufactured from the wood pulp of ethically sourced forests. The clear film is recoverable through the cardboard recycling waste stream and is also biodegradable and compostable.
