Organised annually by the World Packaging Organisation (WPO), the WorldStar Packaging Awards are among the most prestigious accolades in the global packaging industry, attracting hundreds of entries from around the world and celebrating excellence in packaging design, technology, and sustainability.
Mondi’s award-winning solutions span paper-based, recyclable, and high-performance packaging, serving customers across eCommerce, food, transit, electronics, household, health and personal care, and consumer goods markets. The recognised innovations demonstrate Mondi’s focus on replacing less sustainable materials, improving recyclability, and delivering high-performing packaging solutions that support a more circular economy.

Customer Collaboration Recognised
Mondi also welcomed the recognition of its long-standing customer Werner & Mertz, which received a WorldStar Award in the Household category for the Frosch fabric softener stand-up pouch. Developed through close collaboration, Mondi and Werner & Mertz combined their expertise to create the 100% recyclable StripPouch, incorporating post-consumer recycled plastic sourced from household collections—a clear example of their shared commitment to circular packaging solutions.
