Global packaging manufacturer Klöckner Pentaplast (kp) will showcase its specialist meat packaging portfolio at SÜFFA 2026, taking place in Stuttgart, Germany, from 7–9 November 2026. At Stand 7B26, the company will present packaging solutions developed for fresh and processed meat applications, covering rigid trays, films and flexible packaging formats.
The portfolio will demonstrate how packaging can combine product protection, sealing performance and visual presentation with improved material efficiency and recyclability.
Key packaging solutions on display
1. kp Elite Zapora – Integrated liquid management
kp Elite Zapora combines the sealing performance of the company's kp Elite technology with a tray base designed to capture liquid without requiring a separate absorbent pad. The recyclable mono-PET tray can incorporate up to 100% recycled PET (rPET), while maintaining the clarity needed for product presentation.
2. kp Elite Nova – Lightweight MAP tray design
kp Elite Nova is the latest addition to kp's Elite tray range. Featuring an innovative ribbed design, the tray is engineered to reduce material weight while maintaining the strength, sealing and barrier performance required for fresh and processed protein applications. kp describes it as the lightest MAP tray design in its class.
3. kp MonoSeal – Mono-material rigid film
Designed for applications such as sliced processed meats, kp MonoSeal is a mono-PET rigid film offering enhanced sealing performance for reliable hermetic packaging. The film contains up to 80% recycled PET and is endorsed by PETCORE Europe as designed for recycling.
4. kp FlexiFlow PH 255 R – High-barrier flexible packaging
The company will also present kp FlexiFlow PH 255 R, a lightweight, high-barrier polypropylene flow-wrap solution for fresh and processed meat products. Certified recyclable by Interzero in the PP recycling stream where appropriate infrastructure exists, the solution combines barrier protection, sealing performance and product clarity.
