Manufactured in the UK using a unique foaming technology, FOAMO is an ultra-light reusable coffee cup designed to reduce reliance on disposable cups. Made from plant-based materials including waste cooking oil, it requires 85% less virgin plastic than standard reusables and is 100% curb side recyclable at the end of its life.
FOAMO is the result of a collaboration between First Editions and the Birmingham Energy Institute’s Climate Innovation Platform (CIP), produced at Tyseley Energy Park using a zero-waste process and renewable energy. Its carbon footprint is 20 times lower than conventional reusable cups, making it an environmentally responsible choice for businesses and individuals alike.
Its patented post-mould foaming process reduces plastic usage by 50% while keeping drinks hotter for longer without the need for an extra sleeve. FOAMO’s heat-trapping, self-insulating wall enhances performance, while its lightweight yet durable design ensures everyday practicality. Fully dishwasher-safe and easy to clean, FOAMO is built for convenience while minimising environmental impact.
