Dietary supplement recall: More than 148,000 bottles lack child-resistant packaging

Mindbodygreen has recalled more than 148,000 bottles of its Ultimate Multivitamin+ dietary supplement due to packaging that fails to meet federal child safety standards.

The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission reported the packaging does not follow child-resistance packaging, which creates a risk of injury or death from poisoning or swallowing the pills.

The iron-containing supplements were sold in eight-ounce amber glass bottles on Mindbodygreen.com between November 2021 and November of last year. The recall was initiated because the packaging violates the Poison Prevention Packaging Act.

No injuries have been reported. Consumers can contact Mindbodygreen for free child-resistant replacement caps.

Customers can request replacements by emailing multi@mindbodygreen.com or visiting the company’s website.
