A B Graphic International (ABG) has unveiled ABG Flex Pack, a new division that consolidates the company’s expertise in lamination and finishing into the fast-growing flexible packaging sector.
With decades of experience in thermal lamination, pouch finishing systems such as the Digicon 3000, and shrink sleeve technologies installed worldwide, ABG Flex Pack now offers converters a complete, end-to-end packaging solution.
The division is built on three pillars of innovation:
- ThermoLam – ABG’s new compact, modular thermal laminator featuring enhanced ergonomics, easier front roll handling, and an optimised footprint for improved efficiency.
- Exclusive Partnership with Galaxy Packtech – ABG will distribute and service Galaxy’s proven pouch-making technology across Europe (including the UK and Ireland), the US, Australasia, Japan and Israel.
- Future Innovations – A third development is in progress, designed to further advance the functionality and appeal of flexible packaging.
Galaxy Packtech, a family-run business with 24 years of expertise, has more than 1,500 global installations and a team of over 100 experts. Its modular pouch- and bag-making machines are known for high performance, user-friendly operation, and cost-effectiveness.
“We chose to partner with ABG because of their reputation for innovation, high standards and service support,” said Gaurav Sharma, Chief Marketing Officer at Galaxy Packtech. “As two family-run businesses with shared values, we can deliver flexible packaging solutions that combine Galaxy’s technical excellence with ABG’s global reach.”
Matt Burton, ABG’s Global Sales Director, added: “Converters can now access a true end-to-end technology—from coating and lamination to pouch production—all from a single supplier. With ThermoLam, Galaxy’s world-class pouch systems, and further innovations to come, ABG Flex Pack enables converters to increase capability, efficiency, and market diversification.”
