The latest addition to the range is the new Cartaseal^® VWAF, which has been developed in line with the principles of “The Archroma Way to a sustainable world: safe, efficient, enhanced, it’s our nature”.

The innovative Cartaseal^® VWAF is designed to form a continuous and defect-free film-like coating on the paper surface. The resulting barrier offers class-leading performance against the penetration of oils, fats, water and vapor.

Amelco Industries has optimised the packaging of its mattress innersprings with Mondi’s Advantage MF SpringPack Plus speciality kraft paper.

The company supplies raw materials and machinery for the manufacture of innerspring mattresses in the south-eastern Mediterranean and the Middle East.

The innerspring units are roll-packed to ensure safety during transportation.

Amelco claims to have exceeded customer and logistics expectations in innerspring packing in collaboration with Mondi`s Speciality Kraft Paper team.

PRIMA COLLECTIO WILD GLASS FOR WINES

The Refill a Box scheme is the first of its kind to be trialled by a UK supermarket. Each ‘rentable’ box will replace Morrisons large salad box and is made from fully recyclable polypropylene. The boxes are designed to be used 400 times to prevent disposable plastic containers from being used.

As everybody knows Molded Pulp packaging created its value that it will compostable and recyclables by nature but by declining the supply of Recycled Newspapers scientists started looking for New Alternative for Molded Pulp. Professors of Oregon State University Dr. Yanyun Zhao studied for alternative sources for Molded Pulp Packaging along with their researchers, found that Apple Pomace and other fruits and vegetable byproduct after taking juice out of it are a viable environmental friendly options.

Dow recently introduced its first post-consumer recycled (PCR)-rich resin for collation shrink film in North America, enabling companies to incorporate more post-consumer materials while maintaining the application performance.

The recycled plastic resin, which is designed specifically for retail and logistic shrink film applications, expands Dow’s circular technology portfolio to help more customers and brands achieve their sustainability goals by offering the ability to create shrink film with up to 40% PCR content.

L’Oréal and packaging maker Texen have joined forces to develop a new generation of caps made from 100% recycled polypropylene (rPP) for the beauty giant’s Biotherm brand.

The move forms part of L’Oréal’s drive to reduce the environmental footprint of its packaging.

According to Texen, the caps can be adapted to different shapes of jar for skin care formulas under the blue beauty player, including Cera Repair and Blue Therapy.
