EcoAllene® is the result of years of study and research. It is the newest plastic material from the recycling of polylaminate food cartons (the most common of which is known as Tetra Pak). Supporting the need to reduce the economic and environmental costs deriving from the disposal of the two materials (PoAl), residues of the process of separation of cellulose fibers.

What was considered waste in the process of recycling food cartons until a few years ago has now become a viable alternative for industries that use plastic material: writing, office, toys, gardening, jewelry, glasses, objects for the home and for cleaning, building, street furniture, and many others.
Ecoplasteam S.p.A., of which RePlan Global has granted the license, has started the first production site of the EcoAllene® material in Spinetta Marengo (AL), Italy. Thanks to the collaboration with Amut SpA, our know-how has been transformed into a highly technological plant. Here, 7,000 tons of PoAl waste is recycled, deriving from the recycling of food and beverage cartons, and are transformed into approximately 7,000 tons of EcoAllene® recycled material.
EcoAllene® consists of an entire family of various recipes and formulations, each of them having different technical and mechanical characteristics which are better suited to the individual needs of our customers.
Furthermore; in compliance with European regulations on post-consumer recycled materials, every formulation always contains 95% of the content from post-consumer waste.
