Redefining Resealable Flexible Packaging
Unlike conventional zipper closures that require precise alignment, Easylock® uses self-mating micro-hook technology that enables consumers to easily open and reseal packaging without alignment difficulties. The patented closure system consists of two food-grade, heat-sealable polyethylene hook strips designed to be welded directly onto packaging film.
The closure system also delivers tactile and audible feedback during sealing, giving consumers confidence that the package has been securely closed while enhancing the overall user experience.
In addition to ease of use, Easylock® maintains functionality even when the closure area is contaminated by powders, crumbs or particulates — a common challenge for traditional zip closures. This feature helps preserve freshness, improve usability and reduce product spillage.
Supporting Sustainable Packaging Goals
Sustainability is a central focus of the Easylock® platform. Manufactured entirely from polyethylene (PE), the closure is compatible with recyclable PE flexible packaging structures and has received TREX® recyclability accreditation.
The solution is also designed for repeated use, allowing pouches to be opened and closed more than 50 times while remaining washable and durable.
