Wan Kwai Standee A Bold Statement for Brand Relaunch
Taking home Silver in the Food, Daily Consumer Goods, and Confectionery category, the Wan Kwai Standee won over the jury with its striking long-distance impact, 3D design, and 100% recycled corrugated cardboard construction.
Designed for Importhaus Wilms, the standee plays a key role in the 2024 Wan Kwai brand relaunch, drawing consumers’ attention to the company’s Asian delicacies through powerful visuals and eco-conscious materials. A prominently featured QR code on the standee allows customers to explore recipes and immerse themselves in the world of Wan Kwai via their smartphones, adding a digital dimension to the in-store experience.
The design was lauded not only for its aesthetic appeal and functionality but also for its recyclability, aligning with DS Smith’s circular design principles.
COMPO BIO Pop-Up Store Bringing the Greenhouse to Retail
DS Smith struck silver again in the Home, DIY & Garden category with its COMPO BIO Pop-Up Store a sustainable display inspired by the form and function of a greenhouse.
Created for COMPO’s organic range, the high-impact pop-up store combines offset printing, a modular design with expandable unit options, and a visually compelling 3D structure to capture shopper attention from a distance.
The display also serves a functional role providing easy product navigation, clear visibility, and seamless integration into various retail environments. Its modular structure includes four half-sized and four quarter-sized units, which can expand to accommodate up to six half units, enhancing flexibility for retailers.

DS Smith’s third Silver was awarded in the Food, Daily Consumer Goods, and Confectionery category for the More x Hitschies Zerup Display. Designed to support a bold product launch, the display is a visual powerhouse, incorporating colour-coded shelves, vibrant high-resolution graphics, and a structured format that makes it both eye-catching and easy to construct and prefill.
The solution was praised for its ability to grab consumer attention in a crowded marketplace, while staying true to DS Smith’s core principles of design efficiency and sustainability.
