Sensei Farms says new packaging introduced across its line of leafy greens and salad mixes has a 90% reduction in plastic by weight compared to its previous clamshell.

The new design helps the company meet its sustainability goals while keeping the same functionality and food safety features of conventional clamshells, according to a news release.

Burger King UK Launches Loop Reusable Packaging Trial to Cut Single-Use Waste

In a bold move towards sustainability, Burger King UK has teamed up with Loop to introduce reusable packaging across selected meal and cold drink menu items. This initiative, part of Burger King’s BK for Good commitments, aims to reduce single-use packaging waste and promote circular economy solutions in the fast-food industry.

Eastman received RecyClass Recyclability Approvals for eight copolyester resins and their equivalent Renew grades, containing recycled content.

(Head Office: Chiyoda, Tokyo; President & CEO: MATSUZAKA Shigeharu) and Mitsui Chemicals, Inc. (Tokyo: 4183; President & CEO: HASHIMOTO Osamu) – have developed a recycled BOPP film suitable for mass production.
