Insulating eco-friendly packaging for champagne

Luxury champagne brand Veuve Clicquot protects its breakable glass bottles using a biodegradable package made of potato starch and recycled paper. This packaging is not only biodegradable but also innovative in its function. The packaging has an insulation function as it keeps the bottle cold for two hours after being removed from the fridge. The packaging is biobased and biodegradable. It can be recycled with paper or (home) composted.
