With the bioplastic Röchling-BioBoom, Röchling Automotive is the first company on the market to have a patented polylactide (PLA)-based biopolymer that consists of at least 90 percent renewable raw materials. In this way, the company offers an ecological and economical alternative to most conventional materials such as polyester (PC, PET, PBT) but also polystyrene (ABS), polyolefins (such as PP) and polyamides (PA6).

Dove just launched its first-ever refillable deodorant—and it's guaranteed to last a lifetime.

Available at Target and Walmart stores across the U.S., the launch is a part of Unilever's mission to help care for the planet by creating a closed-loop economy. 

The first customer of the rEPS packaging is French firm Prevor, which is using the material for protecting medical products during shipping. Prevor claims that the rEPS packs enable the elimination of secondary packaging. A project with a manufacturer of cleaning equipment has also started in Germany.

Storopack has a fully integrated rEPS production process, whereby it handles the recycling and production of rEPS beads at its own factories.
