The iconic snack you know and love from America's #1 Selling Peanut Brand has a new, improved look and utilizes less plastic! The makers of the PLANTERS^® snack nut brand are introducing peanut-shaped, flavor-forward packaging for PLANTERS^® Dry Roasted Peanuts, now on shelves nationwide.

In what the judges described as “a really impressive innovation,” the label for Des Moines, Iowa, craft beer producer, Confluence Brewery, used Fathom’s brand-new embellishment technology to render attention-grabbing full-motion 3D effects on labeling for the brewery’s ‘Wizard’ Gose-style sour ale. The effects appear to be on three different levels: text and graphics on the label surface, a ‘Northern Lights’-type effect seemingly moving within the can itself, and finally, at the top of the wizard’s staff, a rotating orb that appears to emerge from the surface of the label.

Because toothpaste is sensitive to oxygen and humidity, manufacturers traditionally produce tubes made from a combination of different plastics and a layer of aluminium, making the packaging not recycling-friendly and therefore not a sustainable solution.

Yoghurt brand The Collective has unveiled refreshed packaging across its entire range.

The updated packaging is being rolled out across its Gourmet, Dairy-free Gourmet and Natural ranges.

The brand said the refresh, which standardised packaging design across The Collective’s portfolio of products, was designed to enhance brand recognition and ensure visual alignment across all of the brand’s products.

According to the company, around 60% of fresh fruit and vegetables in Germany are sold pre-packed in retail outlets. Two-thirds of the packs are based on plastic and the remaining one-third are on cardboard or other paper fiber materials.

The packs offer many benefits for preserving fresh produce. Most importantly, they improve shelf life, therefore, making a major contribution to preventing food waste as a result of premature spoilage.

Amcor Rigid Packaging (ARP) is now offering samples of spirits bottles made of recyclable polyethylene terephthalate (PET) that meet the newly approved U.S. Tax and Trade Bureau (TTB) sizes. Amcor’s new offering was developed to provide customers with the freedom and flexibility to explore new markets while gauging consumer interest.
