Senior Friendly Closure

Danone waters has chosen global closure systems (gcs) to cap the latest 1l bottle of its best-selling volvic brand of natural mineral water. Gcs has developed a new screw cap with a tpe strip to provide a perfect grip, making it easier for consumers of all ages to open and close volvic’s latest 1 liter packaging.  The bi-injected cap, colored white and green, also offers on-shelf appeal, another key requirement for danone. “this closure is very innovative in terms of screw caps for volvic, offering both increased convenience for consumers and on-shelf differentiation.

Shrink Sleeve Act As Label

Sleevepack is a patented system utilising shrink sleeves to multi-pack two, three or four plastic bottles. It consists of a shrink sleeve with perforations and adhesive, so that the multi-pack also becomes the primary label for each individual bottle. When the multi-pack is broken into individual units, a portion of the sleeve remains adhered to each bottle. The end result not only includes increased billboard space for the brand, but an estimated 30 to 60 percent cost saving to the brand owner, compared to using standard labels with a multi-pack sleeve.

Child-Proof Packaging For Healthcare & Pharmaceuticals

This child-proof packaging manufactured by A&R Carton for Orion Pharma Oy Sileo, a medicine for dogs. The material is a special, tear-resistant board from Stora Enso, Ensocard Pharma TR. The internal engineering of the pack is amazing, which allows it to be easily opened by an adult by depressing the areas highlighted with yellow, while the contents are safely secured from children. The carton is produced in a single run on the machine as well as filling in a single run.

Flexshield Paperboard Barrier Coating

FlexSHIELD paperboard barrier coating is a fully compostable lining that performs like poly. FlexSHIELD is a new aqueous-based barrier coating designed for use in folding carton applications, where scoring and folding often create major challenges. It is the first fully compostable product that provides polyethylene-like protection at an economical price point. Boxes treated with FlexSHIELD are FDA, CFIA and EUR compliant for direct food contact. This coating is a cost effective, sustainable alternative to PLA- or poly-based products as well as LDPE coated boards, paperboard .

Before, the problem was damage, destruction and partial emptying of the package in the shop.
