The new packaging was officially debuted at the IFPA Global Produce Show, where it gained enthusiastic responses from industry professionals, buyers and attendees. While the look has changed, the Tanimura & Antle Artisan brand’s renowned flavors, textures and quality remain exactly the same.

DAP’s aerosol cans are designed to deliver consistent pressure for a “seamless” application. The Orange Peel and Knockdown textures’ easy-grip nozzle can be sprayed on the wall directly and overlapped as needed for medium or heavy textures and comes with a straw for finer textures.

Delivering “excellent” texture match, the new spray texture repair assortment provides “quick, seamless” repairs to wall and ceiling texture “in minutes.” It features an easy, user-friendly spray control grip.

DAP is also introducing a 16-ounce texture repair can for its Popcorn texture.

A Swansea researcher has invented a new type of plastic packaging for raw meat which avoids the need for non-recyclable pads inside the trays to soak up the juices, meaning the whole of the packaging tray can now be recycled.

The new packaging is already in use in mainstream UK retailers, helping to increase recyclability of more than 800,000 tonnes per year of food plastic packaging generated by UK supermarkets.

This is a key step to removing the large quantities of non-recyclable absorbent pads that simply end up in landfill year-on-year.

PackSure Launches Drink Industry's First Packaging Resilience and Sustainability Testing Lab

Stirling, UK – The drinks industry now has its first dedicated laboratory for testing packaging materials, thanks to the launch of PackSure, a new facility aimed at improving packaging resilience and sustainability. Established with the support of a £200,000 Scottish Government grant, PackSure offers specialized testing services to help drinks brands create packaging that is more durable and environmentally friendly.
