Momentum for GSI global barcode standard grows with new Digital Link upgrade

EVRYTHNG, an AIPIA member providing digital identities for global consumer products, has announced its support for GS1 Digital Link 1.1, released earlier in 2020. The GS1 new global standard upgrades the universal barcode used by 2M manufacturers across the $13.5-trillion consumer products industry. This ensures that every product can now be web-connected and smartphone-interactive, it is claimed.
