Solidus solutions acquires german and po...
SOLIDUS Solutions announces the acquisition of MÖLLE GmbH, the German and Polish producer of partitions and inserts. The acquisition, which was completed on August 5, signifies a strategic investment to integrate and broaden the product portfolio of SOLIDUS Solutions.
SOLIDUS Solutions acquired MÖLLE GmbH from ERNST & CIE. Klaus Eckert will join the SOLIDUS Group and will continue to lead MÖLLE GmbH as the Managing Director. SOLIDUS Solutions is very pleased with the continued commitment of Klaus Eckert, as his extensive knowledge about the solid board partitions will deliver the company further growth potential in this market.
MÖLLE GmbH is situated in Kastellaun (Germany – Rhineland Palatinate) and Gliwice (Poland) and is one of the leading producers of partitions and inserts in Northwest Europe. The company processes an average production volume of 5,000 tons per year to their main end markets glass, packaging, pharma and beverage. A significant amount of their partitions and inserts are produced from solid board due to the strength characteristics and logistical advantages. The SOLIDUS Solutions mills in the Netherlands will supply the majority of the board volume after the integration of MÖLLE GmbH is fully completed.
“This strategic acquisition will enable SOLIDUS Solutions to take another important step in the vertical integration within the European Group. We are looking forward to further optimizing our service to customers, offering a broader product portfolio and strengthening our leading position in the solid board industry in Europe” said Dieter Bergner, CEO of SOLIDUS Solutions.Company NameSOLIDUS SolutionsImageDesignationMarketing & Communication Manager -
