The 200ml refill bottle is made of HDPE, PP, or PET. Due to their shape, the refill bottles make it easy for consumers to squeeze out their contents in consistent doses – plus, they can be provided with an attractive label. In addition, the non-removable, hinged snap-on lid is fitted with a safety lock. They also have a large surface area that can be designed or decorated attractively.

Greiner Packaging is committed to advancing a sustainable circular economy that, in addition to recycling, also delivers reductions in plastic material use.

Spectra Create stylish recycled packs of Cultiv

Taking advantage of Spectra’s versatile tubular design, the sleek new 250ml packs were extrusion blow-moulded in 50% Post-Consumer Recycled HDPE.

To provide the complete packaging solution, Spectra’s dedicated in-house decoration department finished the packs with two-pass printing to work harmoniously with Cultiv’s existing product lines.

Organic-based beauty brand Cultiv is one of Spectra’s many valued export customers based in France.

Amcor launches first recyclable shrink bag for meat and cheese

Amcor, a global leader in packaging, has today launched Eco-Tite® R in Europe, the first designed to be recycled, PVDC-free shrink bag for fresh and processed meat, poultry and some cheeses. Amcor Eco-Tite® R is designed to maximise shelf-life, maintain food safety, reduce food waste and can be recycled in existing polyethylene (PE) plastic recycling streams.* This means that more consumers will be able to recycle their meat, poultry and cheese packaging, while enjoying the benefits of longer lasting food.

How attitudes to packaging and its functionality have changed over the past seven years, based on a detailed survey of 1,000 UK consumers, is the subject of a new White Paper from leading packaging tapes provider Essentra Tapes. 
The full results were first revealed at a recent ThePackHub webinar, where Essentra Tape’s head of marketing & development, Ian Beresford, unveiled consumers’ latest opinions and compared them to previous research in 2013.

Schreiner Group has been committed to climate protection and sustainability for many years. As a result of its environmental programs, the high-tech company has reduced its carbon dioxide emissions by 65 percent and increased the utilization of renewable energies to more than 50 percent of its total energy consumption in recent years, among other things. Now the family-owned business has made another move towards a climate-neutral future by having installed and activated nine charging stations for electric vehicles at its headquarters in Oberschleissheim.

Opening of the new Daxner innovation center and the Daxner lounge

The new innovation center is 3 stories high with a total area of 660 sqm and provides 30 new ergonomic work spaces. On the ground floor you can find conference rooms eqipped with the most modern equipment as well as offices. In the two light-flooded top stories - which are connected to the existing building with a glass corridor - we made space for open-plan offices to accomodate our growing engineering team.

State-of-the-art plant technology sets the bar high for future quality standards

The showcase plant was taken into operation in 2019. It was built on an area the size of 5 soccer fields, houses a 29 m high bay storage and was awarded the BREEAM Excellent Sustainability Certificate. First and foremost the plant enables Euroma, known as pioneer of gentle herb processing, to increase the production volume and reach a new level of food safety.
