Company sees India demand soar for Key-Pak child-resistant, eco-conscious paperboard blister card.

Keystone Folding Box Co., a designer and manufacturer of paperboard packaging solutions, has seen a surge in demand for its line of child-resistant, paperboard-based blister cards from pharmaceutical companies in India. The sales spike for its Key-Pak series comes amid two parallel occurrences: new sustainability guidelines in India, and increased demand for child-resistant (CR) pharma packaging in the US, to whom India supplies some 40% of packaged OTC and prescription drugs.

Viupax is a sustainable shoe box in the market. thus innovatiove shoe box design reduce the use of cardboard and also improves the effciency of conatiner and radically reduce the enviormental footprint.

Viupax uses 57 % less paper as compared to traditional 2piece shoe box. It can decerase engerygy use and emission by 57 % during the paper making process.

Its unquie shape requires50 % less space then the traditional 2 piece shoe box. Viupax's built in mechanism allows it be coverted in a carry bag therefore reducing the use of paper bag.

Frugalpac unveiled the world’s first spirit and olive oil in paper bottles

Silent Pool Distillers became the first drinks company to sell a spirit in Frugalpac’s Frugal Bottle for its Green Man Woodland Gin, launched on Earth Day (April 22) and Greek Olive Oil producer Aeons has just unveiled the first oil in a paper bottle, AEONS Exclusive Paper Bottle. They will be joined by Scotland’s NB Distillery who are launching the first low carbon AND low alcohol botanical spirit in a paper bottle called School Night.

Röchling Automotive puts sustainable organic plastic on the market

With the bioplastic Röchling-BioBoom, Röchling Automotive is the first company on the market to have a patented polylactide (PLA)-based biopolymer that consists of at least 90 percent renewable raw materials. In this way, the company offers an ecological and economical alternative to most conventional materials such as polyester (PC, PET, PBT) but also polystyrene (ABS), polyolefins (such as PP) and polyamides (PA6).

GSK Consumer Healthcare commits to make over a billion toothpaste tubes recyclable by 2025 as part of its ongoing sustainability journey

The first partnership, with strategic packaging supplier, Albea, which is one of the world’s largest tube manufacturers, will see GSKCH switch its toothpaste tubes from aluminium barrier laminates to the patented Greenleaf laminate. The switch-over will begin with Sensodyne Pronamel tubes, which will be available in fully recyclable alternatives in Europe this July. This will be bolstered by a second partnership with EPL Global to produce tubes in Platina laminate.
