MULTIVAC is expanding its Bulgarian production site

the first spadeful of earth for the extension work on the produc-tion hall at the Bulgarian site in Bozhurishte was turned by Dr Christian Lau, Executive Vice President of Manufacturing at MUL-TIVAC, and Miyryam Servet Mustafa, Managing Director of MUL-TIVAC Bulgaria Production EOOD. The guests included Dr An-toaneta Bares, Executive Director of National Company Industrial Zones, and Georgi Dimov, the Mayor of Bozhurishte. Production and assembly facilities, as well as state-of-the-art offices, will be constructed on an area covering approximately 5,000 square me-tres.

The highlight will be the RX 4.0 thermoforming packag-ing machine in GMP design, which will be presented to the visitors for the first time. In conjunction with an integrated handling mod-ule and an InteliJet HD digital printer from BELL-MARK, it forms an efficient solution for producing and printing combi packs containing a syringe, filter and vial.

The Italian Packaging Machinery Manufacturers’ Association believes it is inconceivable to hold the fair from 25 February to 3 March 2021

After months of attempting to dialogue with the organisers of Interpack, up until now the world’s most important exhibition of packaging technologies, the Italian companies represented by Ucima recently received a communication from the event’s organiser Messe Düsseldorf confirming them that the show is scheduled to take place from 25 February to 3 March 2021.
