Launched in support of its overall sustainability vision of ‘supporting packaging markets with responsibly built products and sustainable solutions designed for circular economies’, the new portfolio is designed for a wide range of film, paper and aluminium packaging applications and is based on a number of binder technologies ensuring suitability no matter what substrate is used.

Flexible packaging company PAC Machinery has designed and developed a new option for its Rollbag automatic baggers, including the Rollbag R785 all-electric automatic bagger.

The easy touch start sensor features a magnetic base that enables machine activation through a touch of the button.

Rollbag automatic bagger machines are used for filling and sealing bags containing a wide variety of products.

The machines are available in different sizes and shapes such as compact tabletop or floor models and deliver speed and quality poly bagging solutions.

At Pack Expo Las Vegas, Glenroy Inc., a flexible packaging company and the exclusive converter of the premade Standcap Pouch, announced “TruRenu” as the official brand name for their sustainable flexible packaging portfolio to help brands and retailers achieve their sustainability goals.

The company says its new flexible packaging solutions were developed in collaboration with Innotech’s R+D+I Centre, as well as EMSUR’s Saymopack and EMSUR SPO’s production sites in Valencia and Ballée respectively.

According to EMSUR, the EM-Full RFlex range replaces conventional duplex structures with monomaterial substrates to provide “excellent barrier and sealing properties” to the packaging.

It adds that its new laminate is aimed at fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) customers, who require packaging solutions for bags, pouches or Doypakcs with monomaterial compositions.

Their most recent addition is Mr. Pasha Solel as Senior Business Development Manager for their Flexible Packaging market. Before joining Michelman, Solel spent nearly a decade with HP Indigo as a Material Applications Expert, working with major converters and focused on labels and flexible packaging applications. Prior to HP, he spent many years in the sustainable solar power industry, having experience with various plastics, adhesives, coatings, treatments, and curing technologies.

Through the partnership, the companies will work to engineer and test new chemical recycling methods with a focus on flexible packaging such as pouches and bag-in-box – which are suitable for a variety of food and beverage applications

Korea's Suncheon City Agricultural Products Processing Center opened in May 2020, and the business was unable to serve customized orders due to the overall arrival time for labels and flexible packaging.

That necessitated the addition of anytron any-PACK, which allows Suncheon City Agricultural Products Processing Center to tend to the customized packaging of the products and procuring orders. The anytron any-PACK runs with Adobe illustrator and simplifies the process.
