The pandemic brought up climate change and environment to historical levels among the Gen Z and millennial list of concerns. According to the "Deloitte Millennial Survey 2020", protecting the Earth clearly appears as the top priority for these generations, which were surveyed in 13 countries around the world. And most of them said they intend to continue changing their daily, personal routines with an eye toward improving the planet. For instance, two-thirds (64%) said they are cutting back on single-use plastic and recycling more.

Stora Enso’s pulp customers are getting more and more questions about their products’ sustainability and if these products are compostable. As responsibility lies at the heart of Stora Enso, we initiated a project to certify all our paper pulp grades as compostable.

The GAA sessions consist of eight papers, four on Wednesday, Oct. 21, and four on Friday, Oct. 23, and include subjects such as gravure and printed electronics, quality control, biomaterials for flexible hybrid electronics and 3D printing, more sustainable cylinder washing, high-speed gravure printing, laser-engraved cylinders, and use of near-infrared technology in printing décor and packaging.
