Product innovation is becoming important

Global contract development and manufacturing organization Recipharm has inked a deal with a top 10 big pharma company to support vaccine manufacturing from its facility in Kaysersberg, France.

The agreement was announced following the successful quality audit and will see Recipharm aseptically pack single-use vaccines used to treat a severe infectious disease that affects both young children and infants.

US-based baby food company LactaLogics has finalised a partnership with flexible packaging manufacturer Scholle IPN for developing aseptic packaging technology.

The companies have partnered after carrying out a packaging research and development phase.

The collaboration will involve integrating Scholle IPN’s solutions with LactaLogics’ Gentle-UHT processing capabilities to deliver safe human milk-based products for infants in pharmaceutical-grade packaging.

India’s ethnic snack-food giant Haldiram’s Nagpur has opened its own manufacturing facility for long shelf-life dairy products, setting up a massive dairy facility, with an investment of over Rs. 100 crores.

The brand has tied up with SIG, a leading systems and solutions provider for aseptic carton packaging, leveraging the latter’s pioneering filling machines for aseptic carton packs.
