As part of efforts to enhance kerbside recycling rates across the region, households are being urged to recycle different types of metal packaging.

These include food and drink cans, aluminium foil and trays, empty aerosols, and metal screw tops.

The 'MetalMatters' programme, led by the Aluminium Packaging Recycling Organisation (Alupro), will utilise targeted social media posts and bus advertisements to highlight the extensive benefits of recycling metal packaging.

Bridgerton, Netflix's hit television show with a cult following, now has its own product line by Bath & Body Works.

BBW collaborated with Netflix to create five scents inspired by “scenes, characters, key icons and moments” from the hit series, which debuted in 2020. The first product line featuring the fragrance "Diamond of the Season" is shown above. 

BBW says the partnership with the streaming service will continue for one year—so Bridgerton fans can expect more new products to drop throughout 2024. 

The vodka brand has announced orange peel as its latest flavour, which will be the third product in its Nights shots range.

Wet Brush has partnered with philanthropic brand Newman’s Own to market a hairbrush inspired by actor Paul Newman. The brush is a vivid blue, like Newman’s eyes, and the packaging design features the actor’s photo.

A federal judge is allowing some claims to continue against Simpson Imports from consumers who claim that the company uses misleading labels on its canned tomatoes.

Andrea Valiente, the named plaintiff in a 2023 class action, claims that Simpson’s canned tomatoes use labeling that suggests they are high-end San Marzano tomatoes grown in Italy, when in fact they are lower quality San Merican tomatoes. Simpson no longer sells San Marzano tomatoes, but Valiente says the packaging on the San Merican tomatoes is extremely similar to Simpson’s old San Marzano packaging.

The iconic festive pails will be available in limited supply at McDonald's stores from October 17. Instead of regular paper packaging, these Happy Meal variants will be plastic buckets. There will be four colour options to choose from - orange, white, green, and purple, which is the latest addition to the series. Moreover, the four characters will be - monster, skeleton, mummy, and vampire.
