Primal Kitchen has issued a voluntary recall of its avocado oil because the glass bottle may be prone to breakage, the FDA shared on Monday.

The recall includes approximately 2,060 cases of three code dates of the 750mL Primal Kitchen Avocado Oil. The bottles part of the recall have an individual package UPC of 8-5523200719-4, Case UPC of 108552320071910000 and a “Best When Used By” date of Aug. 19, 2025, through Aug. 21, 2025.

The affected products were sold in the eastern United States and California, as well as online nationally.

Food regulator FSSAI has asked food business operators to immediately remove claims of 100 per cent fruit juices in advertisements as well as labels on packaged products.

According to an official statement, Food Safety and Standards Authority of India (FSSAI) has issued a "directive mandating all Food Business Operators (FBOs) to remove any claim of '100% fruit juices' from the labels and advertisements of reconstituted fruit juices with an immediate effect.

The Stone-based business is a specialist trade producer of point-of-sale and packaging products. It filed turnover of £16.6m in its most recent results, for calendar year 2022.

An Environment Agency investigation found that Swanline first became obligated in the 2010 registration year, but failed to register until 2021.

“Since then, the company has registered every year and is now compliant with the regulations,” the Environment Agency stated.

The Prospector, a Ridgefield, CT, movie theater and gourmet popcorn company, has released a limited-edition popcorn flavor called Down to Sparkle in celebration of World Down Syndrome Day (WDSD), March 21.

In a proposed federal class action filed on Thursday and seeking at least $5 million, Cynthia Kelly accused Hershey of deceiving reasonable consumers by falsely promising that its candies would contain "explicit carved out artistic designs."

She said she would not have paid $4.49 in October at an Aldi for a bag of Reese's Peanut Butter Pumpkins, had she known that the candies not only lacked the "cute looking" carved eyes and mouth shown on the packaging, but any carvings at all.

Dozens of grower associations from across North America convened to discuss the current state of produce packaging and outline goals for the Sustainable Produce Packaging Alignment for North America (SPPA). SPPA will develop unified guidelines for use across the North American fresh produce supply chain, with a target completion date of December 2025.
